Question 4: Security

In promoting the security of Canadians, where should our priorities lie? Should Canada give a higher priority to military combat operations? To sectors such as intelligence gathering and analysis? Or should we focus on broader security measures, such as combatting environmental degradation and the spread of infectious disease? What should be our distinctive role in promoting global security?

Les opérations de combats doivent se limiter à la défense du territoire seulement.

Le renseignement doit être mis de l'avant et établir de meilleur moyen de circulation du renseignement entre les différents ministère et organismes publiques (gouvernement provinciaux et municipaux)("break intelligence stove pipies").

La santé des canadiens est primordiale. Le SARS est un exemple où les services publiques n'ont pas réagit avec suffisamment de célérité.
