Answer:
Canada should do more to address the conditions giving rise to conflict and insecurity beyond its borders in particular in countries where its corporations seek to invest. Canada should develop and implement legislative
mandatory legally enforceable rules that would prevent Canadian corporations from investing conflict zones where such corporations are likely to be complicit in or to benefit from egregious violations of basic international
human rights and humanitarian law that are perpetrated in the course of the conflict.
