We are asking the PM to initiate a resolution to condemn China persecution of the Falun Gong practitioners at the Annual meeting of The United Nations Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR).

The Chinese government has flagrantly abused the human rights of its citizens. There is confirmation that over 629 Falun Gong practitioners have been murdered by the Chinese government. Please see www.falundafa.org, www.faluninfo.net, www.fofg.org.

The Chinese government has imprisoned, tortured and persecuted thousands of its citizens simply for not giving up their practice of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance a well-accepted universal value which has helped over 100 million people world wide.

These human right abuses need to be brought to the attention of the international community, as it affects everyones right of freedom of belief.

The United Nations Commission on Human Rights (UNCHR) will convene on March 17, 2003. We urge The Canadian government to take a leading role to speak out for justice and the protection of religious freedom.

From the goodness in evryones hearts we know it must stop now, so we have to take a stand together and say "NO" Here is an online petition if you would like your voice heard as it will be submitted to the human rights meeting as well.

Thanks for your consideration on this issue.

I don't know too much about this subject but the little I read indicates this is a non religious group headed by an American. They have hi jacked tv station transmission on a few occasions.
It was said that they are not a genuine religious group but a network for transmitting information and practices. Whether this transmission of information and practices is good or bad; I will admit that I do not know.
This information did not come from a Chinese site
