Yes. The growing impact of religion in international and intra-national conflicts merits serious attention to violations of human rights conducted on the basis of religion. A current case in point is the imminent execution of Amina Lawal of Nigeria. Also problematical are the conflicts in places like Pakistan and India in which the sometimes inappropriate proselytising actions by members of some faiths is dealt with by equally inappropriate anti-conversion legislation and harassment of minority groups.
